The Wagyu beef served at The Boathouse Restaurant comes from an elite private library of ultra-premium American, Australian, and Japanese beef genetics, renowned for its exquisite marbling, tenderness, and taste.
At The Boathouse Restaurant, we pride ourselves on providing the freshest farm-to-table ingredients. For over a decade, Doug Kosch has been supplying us with thousands of vegetables, pigs, and turkeys for Thanksgiving dinners, all sourced from his Old Mission farm. To take farm-to-table dining to the next level, Kosch personally sourced a Wagyu cow from Shaver Farms and raised it specifically for our restaurant.
This collaboration with Shaver Farms has been in the works for 18 months and is the first-of-its-kind. As the only establishment in Michigan offering this exceptional dining experience, we are proud to bring this unique culinary adventure to our customers at The Boathouse Restaurant.
